About Me

Hey, I’m Nic. Welcome to my little corner of the internet.

I’m a platform engineer who loves homelabbing, automation, and figuring out how things work. I also write about faith, life, and whatever’s on my mind.

What is this site? #

This is my public mental datalake—a space where I share thoughts on technology, faith, and life. The posts here range from technical tutorials to personal reflections.

Slash Pages #

You might have noticed URLs like /now, /uses, or /about. These are called slash pages — a simple, elegant way to share information about yourself using just a URL.

They’re inspired by the “slash” convention popularized by people like Derek Sivers. Instead of having to navigate through menus, you can just share a link like pype.dev/uses and people instantly see what tech I use.

My Slash Pages #

Here are some of my slash pages:

• /now — What I’m currently focused on
• /uses — My current setup and tools
• /wants — Things I’m hoping to get/do
• /about — More about who I am
• /contact — How to reach me
• /feeds — Other feeds I follow

You can also browse all my slash pages at /slash.
